So what is this wearable art stuff anyway? - The art for people featured at metalsgirl.com is original artwork created to express the vibrance and brilliance of color and metal.  While creating art and jewelry, I realized that metal can produce some beautiful colors, but is limited in its spectrum.  I wanted to create art that not only captures the beauty of metal, but also shows off the brilliant color available in colored resins. 

After researching and experimenting with several iterations or art, I finally stumbled across herbs.  That's right, herbs.  It is believed by some that herbs can not only produce their well known culinary attributes, but can also contribute to health and well being through other properties.

The result is a colorful mix of metal, resin, and herbs.  To some, they represent beautiful, wearable art.  To others, the colors and herbs represent qualities and properties that they wish to carry with them in their daily lives.

So there it is.  That's what this art is all about.  I hope you like it.
